Your credit isn't on your phone. It's on your account. When you get a new sim with your number on that sim your credit will be there.

The sim has been corrupted too, I have tried a sim reader and it cannot be read.

Call Customer Service. They will send you a new sim. Or if you have an O2 store nearby you can go in and they will do it all for you there. Be sure to bring identification.

You need to ask O2 cs for a replacement SIM card.
It's free and will have your old number and credit transferred to it.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
