You are eligible but the discount has to be applied within 30 days of taking a contract, so, no for now. But when you renew your contract next year you can apply it then.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Here are all the facts and form you need to look at the open code.

The code can only be used on contracts directly taken out with O2 and within 30 days of taking the contract out. Contacting O2 Customer Services. 202 for Contract. 4445 for PAYG. 8002 for Business will clarify this.

This is only available on the Refresh Tariff.

Links and FAQs on the Open code.

You cant add the discount during an existing contract.

But as you have had your contract for a year then why not move over the a refresh contract?

Its effectively a new contract and so you can then attach the discount.

The discount and a new mobile may be worth doing it if you are on a 18 month contract

If on a 24 then weigh up the pro of a new handset.

In any case you can figure out the costs on the o2 site. Just try looking in the upgrade section.
