Hey All,
I recieved a text message today from 02 informing me that I am no longer entitled to unlimited data (which I signed up for) and will be capped at 750mb.... can I get out of my contract due to 02 breaking the terms and conditions of my original contract?
I have an Iphone 3gs taken out on 11/08/09 on 24mth contract (£45pcm) the only change I have made during my contract is dropping down to the £40pcm plan from September 2010 on 02's recommendation.
I realise this has been asked before but I couldnt find a definate answer.
Has anyone had any success in cancelling their contract due to these changes?
Many Thanks,
Graham.

Sorry, the last poster is incorrect.
If you upgrade, take out a new plan OR CHANGE TALKPLAN after 24th June 2010 you are subject to the new caps, and you will have been (supposedly) informed at point of the tariff change.
One reason why I won't change my tariff (even though I only use 2-300 mins of my 1200, but I rinse the data).

Yep, by changing your tariff after June 24th you've now come into the data capping rules.
And no, you can't cancel your contract because of it I'm afraid.

Please accept my applogy on me not fully reading the op correctly I stopped at the 11/08/09 date.
But my linked thread and the support pages it links to confirms that you should be swapped to the new tariff t&c as explaind by the others.
