Can I Cancel a Change of Mind Cancellation?

I contacted CS via Live Chat today to cancel a 24 month Refresh Plan with an iPhone 5s within the initial 14 days of delivery and have to return this within 7 days (the return document says if it's not returned within 7 days they will have to charge the return cost).

If I change my mind and decide to keep the phone and monthly plan, can I do this or would the cancellation now be in effect? So in other words, is it too late to simply activate the SIM and iPhone and continue with the plan?

It's not clear if a cancellation only takes effect when the device arrives back at O2 and usage after this time will  deem the cancellation void, or if the cancellation request has effectively cancelled this already.

Thanks.

Hi @NickS I think to be absolutely certain you will need to contact customer services. Don't use live chat on this occasion http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

They may be able to override the cancellation if it has yet to be activated ...

You will receive the full bill which will need to be paid after 14 days of receiving the bill unless you call CS and tell them you have changed your mind.

Thanks for the replies. I just contacted customer service and was told that the order can only be cancelled once returned, so if I keep the phone and SIM the return will automatically be cancelled.

I think so... £15 per month for a new iPhone 5s and a Refresh plan is such a great deal.

Keep your eye on your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 to make sure you don't get any weird charges.
