Hi! Can anyone help - I'm in France and have the correct bolt on for European travel but my phone is saying 'no service' so I can only use my phone when on wifi! I have data roaming on etc. Thanks! Jo

Contact customer services either from another phone or live chat as we've had a couple of reports just lately of customers having international bars on their accounts http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Thanks. Live chat isn't working but I'll give them a call when I can get access to another phone.

Try a different browser if you can as we often find that fixes the chat issue.

For no network coverage try :

  • Try cleaning the sim card and rebooting the phone.
  • Try also selecting a different network manually

For the data issue

  • If this is an iPhone it's possible you are on the incorrect data bolt on
  • Change the app to mobile.o2.co.uk though you will have to change back to idata.o2.co.uk once the bolt on is changed to the correct idata bolt on.
  • The correct apn for Android phones is mobile.o2.co.uk
  • Also try the live chat on the complaints page

Call customer service and ask them to check that you have idata on your account and that there are no international bars on your account.
Do those 2 things and it will work fine with idata as your apn.
