I have 100% 2G signal (3G switched off on iphone5 as there is none here). Why are voice calls so bad that nobody can here me, calls keep dropping and it sounds to the person on the other end of the line like I'm under water. Not just an issue with the iphone 5, same thing with previous iphone 4. This happens inside or out, no trees or other possible interference and O2 map is 100% 2G blue. O2 Claim there is nothing wrong with the network, though trying to get the attention of one of their chat gurus is impossible, they just end the chat when they aren't able to answer a simple question.

Best advice is to book an apple genius appointment they can hook up the iphone and see if it is hardware related and as the 5 is in warranty will swap on the spot.
If apple say it is not a hardware issue keep reporting the issue to o2 as a network fault.
Do you have home wifi? if so look at the tu go app. if on pay monthly

Thanks for this. It is mainly in my post code, both work and home, and I've tried new sims + meeting the Guru at the O2 store. Just seems odd that with full signal the quality is so poor.
Are there any solutions to boost signal?
