Solved: Calls and texts in Europe

I simply use phone in Greece for texts and calls on basic Pay as you Go. Had been cheap 1p for text etc on O2 travel but has suddenly gone up. Is this the new roaming arrangements? Is there some other tarrif that would be cheaper please?

It's not a problem in itself, it's just that calls and texts when roaming have to cost the same as at home now under new EU regs.

How long are you there using the phone etc due to the new regs things are complicated

It will now be cheaper for you to log into your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and change your tariff to a big bundle. You get a text allowance which will let you text from an EU country to the UK for no extra costs, but the allowances only last 30 days.
