If I’m calling Portugal from 02 to Portuguese network do i pay standard call charges or higher ones as I don’t understand how roaming charges work

Those are the rates for pay monthly customers...the link will show rates for PAYG

Where are you calling from?
If you are in Portugal your calls will come from your uk allowances but if calling from uk the pay the prices shown above.
That’s the difference between roaming and not roaming.
