Calling O2 from Australia

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi I’m out in Australia and want to contact O2 to unblock my phone so that I can put a pay as you go sim in whilst I’m here.
I can’t call the 0844 number and am not switching my phone on as the charges are too high. Is there a none 0800 number I can ring from a landline to speak to O2?

@AnonymousDetails of unlocking your phone are here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-card/ba-p/1014131

You can request an unlock via MY O2 (link given in the guide I have posted)

Edit: This is all presuming you want to UNLOCK your phone  and not UNBLOCK it...(two different things.) wink
