Hello I was hoping to clarify something if i phone my bank and I am on hold for a prolonged period with little or no vocal activity on my end of the phone will i get cut off automatically. Essentially im asking if there is a call time limit before it automatically hangs up like 30 mins or 40, 50 60 etc.
Just i always have signal, and it always seems to cut off around 35 mins
This could be down to a couple of things, @Philaroy:
1. Your bank might drop the call if it's in a queue for a set time - call centres can do this at busy times.
2. I have read of some Google phones on a competitor's network dropping the call at 29mins if on 4G - the solution there was to switch the phone to 2G/3G before making the call.
Not sure that helps... To test option 1, you could try making your call from a different phone. Good luck!
