Is it cheaper to call 00800 3428 1111 or +39 0244412160 they are both to the Fiat Camper Assist helpline? I can call the 00800 free from a landline, it doesn't even register as a call but had difficulty finding information about mobile charges. 00800 is an international free phone some international companies use.

It's free to call 0800 numbers from your mobile

0800 and 0808 numbers
It’s free to call freephone numbers starting 0800 or 0808 from your mobile phone or landline. These changes came into effect on 1 July 2015, as part of the UK Calling changes.
Edited to add +39 is the calling code for Italy so will be classed as an international call

It's not 0800 it's 00800 completely different if you don't believe me try 00800 3428 1111 it is the Fiat Camper Assist helpline based in Italy, totally free from a UK landline but difficult to get information from mobile operators, I don't know why but the first response always quotes 0800. One of the mobile operators I've had doesn't even allow the call.

Thats why I'm asking which is cheaper 00800 or +39 or are they the same, a lot of the 00800 are to USA so is there a charge for the 00800 or is it the country you call rates. I might look into one of free services where I can call via the internet.

You could try calling the number via Skype to see if that goes through as a free call via them.
00800 numbers are not country specific, but it is my understanding that they are charged at the standard rate for calling that country, ie Italy in your case.
