I'm just trying to order asim card to go in my old phone for my teenage daughter. When I get to the checkout, the options seem to imply that I either want to have my current number on the new sim or get a new number. I just want an extra, separate number for the other phone without it affecting my current number. How do I do this?

@Chewcv

To be honest I would simply buy a PAYG sim from Tesco, Argos or Amazon.

It's pointless telling you to contact O2 as it would take ages to get through.

Far easier to go elsewhere.

Hope that helps.
