How do I start a new bundles instead of buying a bolt on
I was ripped off when I changed to O2 as I wanted a £30 monthly but it took £15 to activate my sim

Log into your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and change your tariff to the one you want.
Make sure you top up each month with enough money to cover the chosen tariff costs.

You always have to top up and choose a sim that you want with sufficient allowances for your needs. You haven't been ripped off at all, it's a matter of understanding tariffs and bundles.
