Broken phone no insurance

hi i have a sony xperia Z. Yesterday i dropped the phone and the screen smashed in the top left hand corner and is now completely useless. I cant do anything with it. I have no insurance and still have another 18 months on my contract. Any idea on what i can do and quick? Need my phone...

You can ask sony for a price but I suspect it will be expensive it would be worth trying a few local independent repair shops as well are you not covered on house insurance or via your bank account

In the interim you can get an inexpensive phone and use your sim in that. It's only the phone that's broken, not your contract.

While you figure out what to do, you could pick up a cheap handset and swap the sim to keep you going.

Some online companies and market traders buy non working phones. You may not get much but it could go to towards buying another phone.
