Bought new Lumia 800 but given wrong sim card!!

Hello. I bought a new payg Nokia Lumia 800 & sim card 2 day's ago from an O2 shop. However, when I was setting it up, I realized the sim card given to me was for an iphone! Can I just go back to the shop for a replacement? I have already opened the sim card packaging. I do have all receipts. Thanks.

It shouldn't matter that you've opened it, you had no way of knowing it was wrong.

The shop should replace it without any problem.

Give them a ring first to check they have the right ones in stock.

If you mean it is the wrong size SIM then just go back to the store and change it. If it's the same size SIM then it doesn't matter. Just set it up for normal data. CS can help you with this by calling or using web chat.

As the mistake was the shops they will swap it out for you.

Thanks for those replies. I'll take the sim back on Friday and hope they will change it. I already have a giffgaff sim which fits so I can still use the phone. But I need to activate the O2 sim so I can claim the £20 voucher they offer.

And the Lumia 800 is great. It is so easy to use and I love the 'tiles'. Only disappointment is the lack of apps (but I knew that before buying).
