Hi, today I put a friend on my hotspot so he could purchase a bolt on for his o2 device but it somehow allowed him to add it to my account for which I have bo need for extra data I have 250gb allowance  more to the point he was able to do so with no password or pin prompt from his device, surely this is a breach as if he wanted to he could have cancelled or upgraded my account. I would like for the bolt on to be reversed If possible I have no need for it it wasn't purchased by me and I would think somebody on a different device should need password etc this should not be so simple.

Please respond quick as I've been trying to contact for a long time and the computer keeps hanging the phone up on me

Thanks

Kalham singh

He was effectively using your sim so I can see how this happened, although, as you say, it shouldn't have.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
