I’m going to China very shortly for the first time, my data allowance is only 250mb!

I have purchased a bolt on for 500mb just in case I need it.

I have checked my status on my phone and it is still reading 250mb!

Should this now be reading 750mb of data available?

regards

@Fossil74

You can't use your data in China, so it's not apllicable to your travel, although it should update after 24 hours.

Data use in china is £7.20 per mb, so I'd advise you to stay on wifi at all times with mobile data off completely.

Other charges whilst in China here http://international.o2.co.uk/internationaltariffs/travelling_abroad

Travel inclusive tariffs cover the US if you have it otherwise it's £4.99 a day travel bolt on for unlimited slow data but still not your own allowances.
