Blackberry Sim Only Tariff not for Q10?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I've been looking at the sim only tarifffs but the blackberry one says its not for the q10. I asked on live chat why it wasn't but didn't get a real answer but just asked if I wanted to choose o2 refresh which I didn't. The chat was then ended when I said I wanted to wait 2 days until my contract ends. So what do I choose? The other smartphone tariff?

Hi @Anonymous

The Q10 is a Blackberry 10 device so doesn't use the BIS service the older Blackberry handsets used.

As has been said just get a standard data option but be aware if you had a Blackberry previously that the data is not compressed for Blackberry 10 devices as it was on BIS so yourusage could be significantly higher.

iPhone 14 Pro (O2 ), S23U (EE), iPad Pro LTE (EE), .

The Q10 does not require a Blackberry bolt on so you just need to choose the standard data option when ordering your sim.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe Live Chat were confused because O2 choose not to stock / sell Blackberries at the moment. Maybe.

Follow the advice supplied and you should be fine.
