Blackberry Help

Hello,
I just recieved a blackberry pearl 3g on o2. I have put my old simcard inside and when i try to get settings i get a text back saying
"O2. Sorry. we have had problems dealing with your request for settings. Please call us on 08....."
In which internet does not work.
Please help

Blackberry handsets don't work like that. They need a Blackberry data account.
You either need to change tariff to Blackberry Text and Web or add the Blackberry bolt-on. You can then register for Blackberry service and will be able to set up your handset.

So i'm paying the extra £ that i paid to get internet now for nothing...

Text and Web for BlackBerry
so if i top up(£15) i get £15 cred + 500txt/500mb net/bb email
Also is it possible to keep my current o2 number?

It still does not mean it will work, o2 can not get the browser service books right, it's touch and go

You can keep your number, its just a change of tariff or you can add the bolt-on. You don't need a new SIM. Just call 2202 free for details.
