I am on a tariff that gives me 300 anytime, any network free minutes. I am quite sure I did not use my allowance last month but got billed £4.71 for one call of 12 minutes on 31st January. The actual bill oes not show me how many of my 300 minutes I used last month. Am I being overcharged?
John.

More than likely it is a nuber not covered by your allowance. You can check your bill or the phone logs for that particular number.

I think I worked out the reason for my unexpected charge - the call I was charged for was to the Isle of Man, which O2 obviously thinks is a foreign country and therefore billed me accordingly.

Unfortunately the rules for calling the Channel Islands and IoM changed some time last year or maybe even the year before.
