Billed two days before my new contract started.

Hey, I recently upgraded my phone on 02, 27/04/18 and before I could change my number over to the new sim, needed to pay the outstanding money on the previous contract, which I did. I've now got 02 trying to take this month's payment (apparently due on the 9th but not due until the 24th) dated from the 25th f last month. Is it not to early to be billing me considering I've had it two weeks and the bill is due from before the new contract began? I'm just a bit confused.

That's fine thank you, actually realised that after I'd posted lol. I got the Sony Xperia xz2 compact. Great phone, only got the compact because the normal model is to big for my hands 😂

I have been billed before my number is even ported, I have no problem with paying in advance, however I do have a problem with paying for services that are not being provided as I my number has not even been transferred to O2 yet.
