Just returned from canada to a massive bill. Before i left i visited the O2 shop and got them to turn off roaming as I do not use this service. i have literly been billed for sending text message. To get this bill after I have told them to turn off all roaming to stop me getting billdss like this, and now i return to a massive bill for Oct and nov.
I want this sorted.

@Anonymous did the shop do it on your handset or over the phone to customer services and palce a roaming bar on the account ? if they just turned data roaming off on the handset that is where the issue has arisen

It was done manually in the shop
So as I suspected no roaming bar placed on the account this has to be applied by customer services on the account
I would take this up with the shop concerned and o2 customer services .

Sooo, forgive my ignorance... But if you wanted roaming barred, why were you trying to text in the first place? Seems odd to me....
I think they probably misunderstood how O2 Travel and international roaming worked. I know a few people who think the rules only apply if they attempt to use data...Just a guess of course...
