Why is my bill still the same amount now that I have paid off the device? Surely it should have reduced by the monthly cost of the device?

@Ksouth

Only if you were on a refresh tariff taken directly with O2.

If you took your contract from a third party such as Carphone Warehouse, it will not reduce.

If you're happy to keep your current phone, you can upgrade to a sim only tariff which will reduce your costs, or you can upgrade to a new refresh contract.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
