I’m pretty sure the money for my last bill has not come out of my account as I’ve received a returned direct debit from o2. However when I try to pay for my bill manually using a different card o2 says I’m paying more than I owe and my current balance is £0.00 to pay. So I’m confused as to why I can’t pay for my phone bill when the money hasn’t come out of my account ??

You don't owe anything if your MyO2 is showing £0.00 but check if it's the device payment that failed, not the airtime?

Also check with your bank first thing Monday morning or check online banking to see if the payments have left or returned unpaid.
