I recently purchased a contract for £36 plus £10 internet but my bills are coming to £76. Why is this and why when I purchased the contract did it say my total would only be £46 NOT £76.
Any help?

that would only be £66 not £76
check all extra charges and ring customer services to query.
As a consumer tariff of £46 your vat on the bill would be £7.67 and tafiff and bolton £38.33 to equal £46 you have £ 25.00 of charges plus £5 vat extra

It sounds like more than a normal monthly bill. Have you just changed tariff as you may be paying an interim bill? Either that or you are using data or mms over and above your tariff allowances.
You need to check the breakdown on My O2 to see exactly what the charges are for. If you are still unhappy call customer service if the charges are wrong. You will be reimbursed for any over-payment.

When you call customer services for free from your mobile be polite explain the situation in a calm manner and you will be listened to and dealt with accordingly.
If you have vat at £ 20 then total must ne £120 so something is wrong
