I need some advice from you guys about my new tariff. It may be a little early but I have to get prepared.

Currently I am on contract which is up for renewal in December (or just before) I have a S3 at the moment

To get something that suits me, there are a few things you need to know ...

!) I will be getting a Note 3...that isn't up for debate...

2) Currently I am on Unlimited texts and minutes and 1GB of data (which I never exceed)

3) Where possible, I use my PC or tablet. (I don't work... so these two devices are my comfort zone)

4) I go to Spain frequently so this has to be considered....

5) I want to stay with O2

As the  contract I am on at present is the first one I have ever had.....what is going to happen nearer my end date? ....

Will I be bombarded with calls and texts from other partners encouraging me to go with them?...

There you go...I am sure I will have many other questions, but these will do for now wink

Tesco Mobile "may" be cheaper still @cleoriff.

2000 mins / 5000 texts and 2gb data for £15 per month on a 12 month sim only deal. Tesco use the o2 network.

Just a thought

No access to TuGo on Tesco Mobile, which I believe Cleoriff uses when in Spain. It's why I suggested she look into Three, but didn't realise their free calls from abroad didn't include Spain yet. As so many people use Spain as a holiday destination I think Three will eventually incorporate it, but staying with O2 seems to be her best option for now.

Yep fair enough @Bambino was just putting another idea forward based on cost alone. Wasn't aware of the TuGo requirement.

Yes, I understand. There was no harm suggesting it.

I'm not sure TuGo is a requirement or an issue?

@Cleoriffhasn't mentioned ever using it as far as I know?

I don't actually use TuGo @Bambino I have read so many threads on here that indicate TuGo is giving people problems, so I have never bothered with it.

However, I think out of all three tariffs given,  I can see me sticking with O2 (as it is Unlimited) It has never given me a problem when I am abroad. I know I don't use my phone for everything (as I have a laptop and Tablet) but those two devices run on WiFi in my apartment....

So....O2 remains favourite. I am happy with that as I don't relish change much...unless I am getting something vastly superior.

Thanks all again for your input.... So much easier than being pressurised by a multitude of networks who only want me to sign on the dotted line ...regardless of my specific needs..:smileywink:

You may be right jonsie, but I believe I recall her saying she now has WiFi access when in Spain, so if she wasn't using TuGo before, she could now if she wanted to. She wouldn't have that option if she switched to Tesco Mobile.

Edit: I think we must have been posting at the same time @Cleoriff Yes I know there are problems with TuGo. It would be something else for you to try though, should you ever need it.

I certainly wouldn't base my network choice on tugo it's hardly a worthy app and doesn't work half the time
