I was on a £11 contact which just ended so wanted to upgrade my phone, I managed to negotiate a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 with Unlimited texts and 100mb data usage, however the minutes was only 50 when before I had 300, so the online chat person said she could give me an extra 200 minutes taking it up to 250.
Anyway in 'my o2' it says I only have 50, I went back on chat and she assured me I have 250 just only they can see the extra 200, so I was wondering is this correct and how do I know how many minutes I have left if I cant check them online?

Put your mind at ease and make the effort to ring customer service. Much better option than relying on anything chat tell you.

Sounds peculiar.
I'd keep a record of your chats and if/when o2 charge you for going over 50 minutes, use it as proof that you were told otherwise by one of their staff.
