Hey guys and girls,

Just wondering if you can recommend a good free battery maintainance app for my iP6+.

I'd like ot get into a good routine in charging it and wondering if there are any good free ones that you use.

Currently, I just let my battery get to around 20-25% then do a full recharge each time.

Any info gratefully recieved Fantastic

Hi

You iohone does have an inbuilt setting that tells you what's uisng the battery and the usual stats.

To be honest most such battery apps are eye candy.

I charge mine up when needed and at least once a month calibrate it by letting it go below 10% and then charge fully.

No need for an app that does nothing.
Just carry on as you are, it's fine.

Welcome. 😄

The best battery tip I have is :

Settings -> General -> Usage.

Toggle off Battery % 😄 and enjoy your iPhone.

No worries Mark.
Batteries like to be charged when they have more power in them - they last longer that way slight_smile

Batteries have a charge life cycle, so for an example lets say it is 500 times from empty to full.
If you recharge from 0 to 100% you will get 500 charges before the battery dies....
But if you charge from 50% to 100% (half the drain) you will get 1000 charge cycles (twice the life) before it dies slight_smile
