Hi There

I have two contracts with o2, one i use myself and the other line i got for my mum to use.

Unfortunately she doesn't grasp the concept that calling premium rate numbers from her mobile is incredibly expensive and it is costing me a fortune every month.

Is there any way i can get o2 to block calls to these numbers? or is there any way i can maybe change settings on the phone to stop these calls being made?. She has an iphone 4s.

Any help would be much appreciated

James

Ah no unfortunately O2 cannot bar those as they are not considered premium rate they are classed as non geographical the only way you can do it would be on the phone but that would mean restricting her so she can only call whoever is in the phone book which isn't very practical

Was thinking any numbers not included in the monthly allowance like 0845 0844 0800 0843 etc

Have a look at this it tells you how http://www.askmefast.com/How_do_you_enable_FDN_list_on_iPhone3G_iPhone4_and_iPhone4S-qna1218657.html...

It may ask you for a sim pin the default should be 0000 unless you have changed it

Hi @embassy1976

Here is what's charged for special numbers ;

http://www.o2.co.uk/help/everything-else/special-numbers

Some websites such as http://www.saynoto0870.com can offer alternative numbers that then come out of your inclusive minutes so perhaps put the alternative number in the contacts list
