I arrived in greece last week and I've had nothing but issues whilst in the EU. I've been charged for roaming in greece when it clearly states you can use 25gb of your allowance. I can't make calls or send texts. Not a happy customer, it's a joke

Where abouts in Greece? In many places it is possible for the phone to connect to a Turkish network with a stronger signal. The only way to stop that happening is to make sure Automatic Network selection is turned off and a Greek network selected manually

Sound like that may have happened.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Chele17

You need to contact O2.

Use Skype over wifi Guide: A Guide to Skype

You can message them on social media  O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

Best of luck👍

Hi thanks for your reply. I'm in Kos. I got here Tuesday and I've had nothing but problems. I've been messaging o2 using the hotel WiFi. When I got here it said I was connected to cosmote network. Then t I received a text saying I was nearly at my limit of 50mb and the charge would £51.50. I've tried explaining to o2 chat that this is actually ruining my holiday now as I've had to turn everything off and I have no way of contacting home in the uk

You can use WhatsApp over wifi to call and text home if the people at home also have the app.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
