I need to change my bank details for the direct debit

You can do this via self service in myo2 via the website, under Direct Debits, if the option is greyed out or you cant find it then you need to call o2 on 0800 902 0217 to update them 

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

You can do it in your MyO2 under your payment details.
