Bad Mast for over 5weeks in EC2N area (city of london)

Anonymous
Not applicable

Been having signal issues in the EC2N area for the last 5 weeks, o2 status has said faulty mast, but it hasn't been fixed for ages. tried the keep me posted option, but no other contact methods, calling customer services was a waste of time!

3G and 4G data services are horrible, its slightly better in the morning till 11am, but after that, its non-existent.

As soon as you go away from the area, its fine, 4G signal in westend is fine.

Can you please resolve this asap..

Hi @Anonymous

This is a customer to customer forum...you are not talking to O2 directly.

If you download the My Network app  you will be able to report issues via that http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

Or ring CS on 202 for contract 4445 for PAYG

O2 never give timescales for repairs as there are so many factors that can influence it.
You can get updates text to your phone but that will only tell you when it is fixed or a rough timescale for repairs.
As it is showing as a fault on the status checker it will be known and being worked on.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Five weeks is a long time for a mast to be faulty. Especially in the City of London, where it probably serves thousands of customers. If you've been without service for that long you should be lodging a formal complaint.
