BT'ssmart talk

Anonymous

Hi,

I was looking at my landline account with BT and saw they have an app for their smart talk. Apparently it can be downloaded, and gives cheaper calls(for certain numbers,) than the cost of the mobile phone. Does anyone know more about this? Wouldn't O2 still make a charge for those calls?

I never know when to believe the statements that say "free", only to find out it's free for a certain time, and then you get charged.

i certainly don't want to nullify my contract with O2without being aware.

No.

The bt calls on the app use your mobile data or wifi to connect it. Not your O2 mobile call time/minuets. So your only be charged from bt for the call and O2 will charge for the data, if you don't get data in your plan
