I took out a contract back in 2010 and got a Simplicity 20 tariff that offers unlimited 3G data, is this truly unlimited or is there a hidden upper limit on this "unlimited" tariff that's not advertised.

It has been confirmed a number of times now that 4gb is the limit.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Ah I see, 4gb seems to be the soft limt on these accounts.

Do o2 allow tethering on 4G tariffs such as £20 3gb/month 4G data tariff (looking at SIM only) without paying extra to use tethering on an iPhone?

Tethering is allowed on any contract (just not PAYG).
