My Mrs is due a new phone contract (currently on ee) is there any benefit to adding her to my contract?

I've heard with some providers you can 'gift' some of your data allowance if they're linked like this, is that possible on o2?

O2 used to do a Sharer tariff but it's not available now. You can use a personal hotspot if you like.
