Hi community

o2 have just emailed me saying my monthly charge is going up in April , RPI  etc etc .

I am currently out of contract .

I only pay about £10 a month and have volt benefits etc .

if I sign up for another 12 months this week will 02 still increase the monthly charge in April 2023 ?
thanks again

Yes, is the answer.

To avoid this years increase, then wait till April..

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

March 25th is the cut off date so you can change from March 26th to avoid the price increase this year.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Wait till April. Sign up to a new 12 month SIM only contract via a Comparison Website and then migrate your old number across to the new contract.

It's what I did last year.

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
