Hi,

I want to buy my partner an Apple Watch on a Pay Monthly plan. However, when trying to buy it only allows me to select an option to pair with my own number which I don’t want to do. How do I purchase the new Apple Watch Series 6 on a contract without having to take it through my partners account for pairing as I want it to be a surprise? Thanks

Short answer is that you can't.

If buying for someone else, you need to buy from Apple (they do a finance plan) and then setup the data plan at a later date.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
