An odd sim swap?

I’m thinking of getting a newer phone for my daughter, she’s currently got the iPhone 7 so I was thinking of giving her my 11 pro max and I’ll get a new 12 or 13 and add it into my account as a linked phone (if thats possible).

My question is can I just swap the O2 sims over so they work on either phone? If I order the 12/13 can I just put my 11 SIM card in and vice versa so I get to keep my number and she can have the new contract on my old phone?

I’m not letting her have a brand new phone yet as she’s not yet responsible enough after breaking a couple recently.

Yes, you can use whichever sim in whichever phone you choose.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
