Just wondering if any one else has had problems paying their account using an American Express card. When trying to pay my bill this month, I keep getting an unable to process payment message and to contact my bank, which I have done only to be told there is absolutely no problem with my card. 02 are unable to shed any light on this issue. I have always, up until now, paid using American Express with no problem.

@s_kingdom If you do a search you will see that this has been an ongoing problem for some time which has supposedly been fixed, but obviously not in your case. I know @viridis has first-hand experience with this issue, so I've mentioned him and he will hopefully respond at some point.

Have you paid with this card before?
Many people are having payment issue and the problem has been ongoing for some for months.

I think @viridis's explanation probably sums it all up. I know some people have their reasons for not using direct debit as the preferred method of payment, but it certainly would avoid all these problems @s_kingdom.

I have been paying with this card for a year with no problems, up until this month.
