Am I or am I not going to be charged for recieving (not opening) texts whilst abroad?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I keep getting charged for sending or receiving texts whilst abroad. This is the third month in a row. I have data roaming turned off, mobile data turned off and imessage turned off as suggested the last time I called to question the bill.

Maybe I should get an EE sim for travelling.

You pay to send sms but not receive.
EE are the same I'm afraid so moving won't help.
The only way to avoid paying for a service is to stop using it.

To make sure I'm not wrong, I'm not using anything. But they still keep charging me.

Something must be triggering a charge.
What does it say in your bill breakdown in your MyO2 ?
