Ive got a Samsung Galaxy on O2 which is in contract with Affordable mobiles. I have O2 contacting me telling me that I can upgrade with them soon despite that fact my contract for the handset is with Affordable mobiles as far as I'm aware. and not up until 2025.
I'd like ot hear from others who might be in the same situation not the least because I believe Affordable is a proper MVNO operator and should have their own systems and billing platform but everything I have is O2 branded and the same as other SIM contract which IS direct to O2.

It may very well be a scam caller. Are they offering you big discounts? Never reply to a cold call, no matter who they say they are.

Affordable are not a Mobile Network in any way shape or form, they are a Mobile Phone retailer, and you are on the o2 billing platform, and network directly.
They are like CPW where sell mobile contracts on mobile networks.
I would be very dubious about anyone contacting you saying you can upgrade early and especially 2 years early, it smells like a scam, so ignore it,,

Affordable Mobiles is a reseller and not an MNVO
I'm not sure if it is O2 phoning you up as it is extremely rare for them to do outbound sales calls.
There is however, plenty of scammers and fraudsters that phone up claiming to be from O2.
