Aerial direct

I have two phones with o2 and somehow a couple of years ago now aerial direct took over one of them. I never noticed much difference just that they were a partner of o2. During my last upgrade I chose a sim only deal which with every network is a 12 month contract, not with aerial, it's 24 months. On Wednesday I got a call from aerial to say I could upgrade my tariff and get a new phone totalling £56 a month for 36months. I agreed over the phone but after thinking about it I was unclear why it was 36months and knew I could get a better deal from O2 directly. I phoned aerial back less than 24hours later and they said that I can cancel the phone and it's finance but I can't cancel the sim contract! Does anyone know if this is true I haven't signed anything but they said because I agreed over the phone. I thought the 14 days cancellation was for the whole thing. It's so stressful I'm gonna phone them today and tell them I was to go back to dealing with O2 directly again

Unfortunately you are now a business tariff customer no 14 day cooling off .

There are many threads about this so called trusted partner .

You may have to fight hard but use the full complaints procedure and escalate via resolver http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Type aerial direct into the search box and you'll see that you aren't alone!

This company won't go away as long as they keep getting away with selling business contracts to ordinary consumers with no fear of consequences from O2 or Ofcom. Spineless and toothless!
