Hello

I am on an o2 refresh contract , I have only been at 02 customer for a year, unfortunately for me .. were I live the signal is terrible and I get absolutely nothing, after being with EE for many years I have to go back to EE for the coverage , my contract is 24 month contract .

My 02 refresh plan and device plan is till sept 2021

My time of standing squashed in the corner of a toilet to take phone calls  is done.

Coverage is terrible . Especially when I have to work from home .

I have looked at my device cost , if I pay off the device plan , the remaining balance is £320 .

My air time plan is then £ 31.00 a month, do I have to continue paying this air time plan in full  for the next year till sept 2021 if i cancel my device plan ?

Or will I be lumbered with this unless I buy out that air time contract.

I'm not sure how this works on 02, cheers

Just pay off the device plan.

The phone is then yours and you are free to leave.

Guide: How does O2 Refresh work?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hello .

Ahh right .. I'm not a sure how this worked .

I didnt know if I was still bound to pay that air time still next even if I pay that device off !

I'd rather pay the device off to leave as my coverage is shocking 😳

That's perfectly ok to do.

There are no charges for cancelling the airtime once the device is paid off.

Ahhh super !!! Ill be sure to start making my plans !! There are times I've even had to sit on window sill in the bathroom or stand across the road from my house 😳  .. not good lol ..

I think rather pay the device off and then get an EE sim only deal with another provider , that will be much better for me .

Thankyou for the information. It is much appreciated 👍
