I have been charged 54p for a picture message. I received a text from an unknown number and asked who it was. This is obviously a scam number sent to me and I don’t appear to be able to get rid of the number or block it. Please advise

You dont get charged for receiving picture messages. You get charged for sending them if you dont have the bolton.

You should check if you have sent a picture message or a large text to a group of people as your phone may have converted it automatically to mms.

@Cost

If you reply to an MMS it will send it as an MMS, no matter how small your message is.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
