Additional contract woes

Emboldened by the fact I have managed to get my main Virgin Mobile account holding mobile phone number PAC'd across to O2 (Still no VOLT 30Gb double data or Broadband speed update yet though) I rashly thought I'd get another SIM for my son through O2 Website PAC across his Virgin Mobile number (our family has four numbers on Virgin Mobile, under my account, that I'd like to move across to O2)

Anyway, I got all the way through and was about to pay when I got a declined message, saying I'd reached the maximum number of Pay Monthly contracts. Contacted O2 support (another 60 mins on the phone!) and it seems I'd failed the credit check! Apparently there is a maximum number of contracts you can open in a month of one or two??? I had previously taken advantage of an O2 Samsung Tab7 deal, so that was my second, and when I tried to buy another Pay Monthly SIM on the O2 site, it was three strikes and I'm out. This means I now have a BIG BAD 'Declined Credit' mark on My otherwise pristine credit rating (with a max 999 Experian score!)

This has made me very unhappy! How the hell are you meant to move your families mobile numbers over to O2 in a sensible amount of time, if you can only do it one or two per Month - without getting a 'Credit Declined' black mark on your credit score? I have escalated this up and apparently the O2 'CreditFileReferals' team will be contacting me to try and sort this mess out.

It beggars belief that O2 say you can have 'up to 20 connections on your multisave plan' when it could take you the best part of two years to add them all in! Very confused???

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

A credit score is a made up number and is used to sell people services. O2 and other credit providers look at your credit file, and make a business decision based on that, and they 99.9% of the time they wont change there mind, also note that o2 will want to see a history of payments from you before allowing anymore contracts, if they do indeed allow anymore.

This is a customer to customer forum, and there is no o2 support on here, and we do not have access to any personal or account information,

We are all customers like you and I don't work for o2,
