Activating my SIM?

Good evening,
I've recently switched over from EE, and got my new SIM. After I got a text saying to not turn on my phone until after 6pm, I turned it on not long after, only to find that it's not activated. It recognises that it's am O2 card, and the EE SIM has been deactivated, but I cannot seem to get this to work.
Can I get some help with this please? Many thanks.

You may have to Skype customer service for help if it's not working still.

Keep rebooting your phone every 15 minutes or so @Hiramaky 

It can take up to 24 hours for the port to complete

Ah, thanks mate. It's not too clear on how long the port can take, but I can deal with. Here's hoping it works by tomorrow morning!

Hi mate, unfortunately that link assumes that I can receive text messages. I've tried that link a couple of times and hadn't received any text messages.

Sorry it took me a while. So, it turned out that I was being a dumb dumb. The SIM that was sent wasn't activated, so I had to call in for the details to be tied in with the SIM. Thank you both for your help with this!
