Account in credit. How to request a refund?

I have been overcharged on my final bill and was informed via email to request a refund. First off why do I have to even request it? Why not just send it back? I of course want it back. Baffling. So my actual question is.

How do I request a refund?

As the email makes it sound like a simple request I thought it would be easy. But the way the website is set up it makes it nigh on impossible. Just trying to log in to my account last night was an absolute headache. I went through around 7 authorisation codes and just got stuck in a login/ authorisation code loop. When I finally got in I found there was no such option to simply request a refund and then got stuck in another loop as everything takes you back to the same useless help page. The next day, and I now can't login at all 15 mins have passed and I don't have any codes.

Can someone assist me with this as the automated systems are not working.

Is there an email address I can use to get this resolved?
