Accidental damage within 14 days of signing up

Hi i have recently got a Huawei P Smart 2019 on pay monthly, im still within 14 days of signing up and have just accidentally dropped and damaged the phone, im unsure of what i can do or my options

Warranty does not cover damage caused in this way so you will be liable for the cost of repair unless insured for accidental damage.

Some home contents policies will cover mobile phones as well as bank accounts but you would have needed to register the device to be covered.
