800 numbers ?

got a text the other day saying that from the 1 july i would be charge for 800 numbers

 

then today got a reminder to pay my bill from O2 and was asked to phone a 800 number which has changed from last month when it was a 330 number

 

have o2 changed the number so they can charge their customers to pay the bill?????????????????

You can still call 202 from your phone or 0344 8090202 from a landline.

You can still call 202 from your phone or 0344 8090202 from a landline.

I bet this is the same text we all got about number changes/charges from 1st July...

It seems from posts we have had tonight ...there are so many people who aren't using DD ?:smileysad:

Well I'm puzzled, if you cancel your direct debit you can't really complain about a call charge. Smiley Frustrated

From the amount of posts on here over the last few days....it is quite obvious that many many people are NOT using the DD method of payment.....

Which is why these problems occur with extra changes for reconnection and credit file defaults. Maybe it suits some people but it certainly has it's downside.
