Yes, @Iangillies50. And if you upgrade with O2 directly, the new SIM is preprogrammed with your phone number.
Upgrade elsewhere, you *may* need to phone O2 CS to get the number transferred, if you wish to retain your phone number.

Bear in mind O2's stock control system is not live, so whilst a phone is showing as available on the O2 Shop site, it could be that your choice is not in stock - and you won't hear anything back from O2 until they receive stock and dispatch your phone (e-mail comes out to you at that time).
